A 14TH CENTURY PALACE,
REBUILT WITH ARCHITECTURAL PRECISION
AND CONTEMPORARY GLAMOUR

In the quiet street of San Feliu in the Old Town of Palma, you find this exceptional 1400 square meters palace that has been renovated and transformed into a stylish and spectacular space that would suit both as a home and as a private members club.

Four floors, each and one equipped with a site-built kitchen and hand plucked marble bathrooms, offers a both private and genuine accommodation in the midst of in the exclusive gallery quarters.

The palace has a beautiful patio with a hammam, a vertical garden and a majestic staircase in sand-stone leading up to the first floor. The floors can also be reached by a lift.
Columns, ornaments, corniches and arches have been restored and built, using traditional techniques by local craftsmen. Every little niche, threshold and light fitting is designed especially for the palace.
This accommodation offers views both towards the lavish patio and towards the alley of San Feliu in a building not often discovered.

PATIO

The beautiful, paved patio, big enough for four horse- drawn carriages that it was originally built for, now houses an architect-designed, spacious hammam and an extensive swimming pool. The origins of the patio can be traced to the agricultural traditions of Neolithic farmers, who would terrace steep sloping ridges to make them more accessible. The estetic effect of this practical measure was noticed by the Babylonians who crafted their hanging gardens – one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Here you find the private hanging garden of San Feliu!

Enclosed in the basement floor, you will also find a crypt that was discovered in the midst of the renovation process by the builders. The crypt is, astonishingly enough, built around the time of the birth of Jesus. Now it is transformed into a spectacular wine cellar.

From the side of the patio leads a majestic wide staircase up to the ground floor, Planta Noble. The floor stone setting on the patio, original since 14th century, has a beautiful patina and is perfect for one or more seating groups.

FIRST FLOOR / PLANTA NOBLE

500 SQUARE METERS

Here we have reconstructed the most distinguished floor in the palace, the Planta Noble with a fantastic new cadet ceiling made according to old architectural drawings,
rich decoration and French antique oak floors throughout.

The floor consists of two apartments that can either be used separately or easily transformed into a continuous floor by opening the grand door.

There are three bedrooms in each apartment, six in total. Each with a en suite bathroom. You find a fully equipped, especially designed insite-built kitchen in each apartment and a representative large lounge.

In one of the lounges there is an antique Italian fire-
place and in the other a fireplace in red, beautifully veined marble. Grand halls and a beautiful bay window facing the picturesque street outside adds an atmosphere of a generous balcony in hand-forged iron runs towards the open patio with jasmine and climbing ivy. Each master bedroom is equipped with an open fireplace and a spacious walk-in closet. The bathrooms are built with hand- picked sandbeige marble.

The stairs are made of handpicked marble. All stair- railings are hand-forged by local craftsmen. The book- shelves are custom-made with additional hand-made ladders from London. The Plata Noble is measuring approximately 500 square meters.
